I photograph unguarded moments in plain sight: a woman in an orange skirt mid-stride on Via dei Condotti, a small group turning to chase a soap bubble across Piazza del Popolo, a young man testing a record in an Osaka shop.
Most of my recent work is street and documentary photography. I work candidly, without staging, building each frame in layers of depth and letting color carry the story rather than decorate it. My earlier work looks at Los Angeles and the California coast from above, turning familiar places into studies of line, light and pattern.
I trained in theatre and design, and I work as a product designer in news media. Both shape how I see: the quality of light, where people stand in a space, and the one moment that holds the whole scene together.
